After spending some time with Amy and Aaron on their engagement shoot at Penarth Pier and hearing all about their plans for an epic wedding on St Davids day, I was EXCITED to say the least. Choosing a candid documentary wedding photography approach. what an amazing day it was.
Amy looked AMAZING in here gorgeous two piece from Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique designed by E&W Couture and Aaron looked equally good in his tweeds. After a beautiful ceremony at the ancient St Augustines church around the corner from their home and some relaxed pictures in the grounds of the church we all jumped on some buses, back to the Tramshed in Cardiff. The guests were loving the relaxed vibe as we grabbed some group pictures on the steps by the Millennium Stadium. It was great to capture the guests strolling through the streets of Cardiff, chatting, laughing and generally loving the super chilled atmosphere.
The Tramshed looked great with lots of individual touches from Amy and Aaron. Think wooden crates, Daffoldils, massive images from the prewedding shoot blown up large on the walls and lots of little personal touches.
After the speeches, we nipped off for twenty minutes away from the guests and captured some precious shots of the couple- Celebrating all the local urban features, brick work, bridges, textures, traffic and the river. This special twenty minutes gave me plenty of time to capture lots of natural moments in different backdrops, plus giving the couple a precious bit of time together away from the guests.
After dinner the dance floor was passed over to the capable hands of Grant, head honcho at Boutique Disco– guaranteed to get the floor pumping with a blend of old skool- and festival beats. Awesome!
Thanks for having me Guys- here are a few pictures so far…Enjoy
