The first wedding I shot was my sisters around 2001, I’d recently graduated with a photography degree, so I should have know what I was doing right? Wrong!
My lovely sister said she loved the pictures, was she being kind?! Roll on 8 years I was working as a photographer on a magazine, shooting bands, fashion, food and advertising, when my friend, Sam (also a photographer) asked me to shoot his wedding. I knew he trusted me, my aesthetic and my creativity and I shot the wedding with confidence, freedom and without restraint. They were thrilled with the results. That was about 15 years ago.
